A. [Action: 915 Bilko Boulevard, morning]

[Oh look, there's a package on the porch for Crowley. Well, to be honest, Crowley picks it up with a glitter on the lenses of his sunglasses. So far, Mayfield's gifts to him have been good, so he really has no reason to be wary of this box. He takes it to the kitchen to open it and... He feels a rush of energy that tingles on his skin and knowledge dropped into his mind about what he has just regained: his ability to change his shape.

So, just to test it out, he suddenly takes the form of a snake and flicks his forked tongue in amusement. In fact to any of the residents of 915 Bilko were to walk into the kitchen, they would see a snake that gives the impression of being mighty proud of himself.]

Hallo.

[Oh yeah, this snake can talk.]


B. [Action: About town, afternoon]

[Crowley's trying out a different shape. He's slinking around town as a woman with raven black hair, cherry red lips, and shades. He's wearing a slinky, low-cut, white with black polka dotted pencil skirt dress and black snakeskin Louboutin stilettos. He looks like every teenage boy's wet dream: the quintessential pinup girl.

Crowley still seems rather pleased with himself, parading around town like this. Go ahead. Approach him. He won't bite. Not even you, Loki.]


C. [Action: Olney's Tavern, evening]

[Well, he's not behind the bar. He isn't allowed behind the bar tonight because he's a woman. In fact, he keeps getting disapproving looks from the patrons of the tavern.

Crowley found out he was stuck a couple hours back. It was like he forgot his favorite shape. Really, it is just a set back, though a very frustrating one. Clearly, it's been too long since he changed his shape.

He drummed his perfectly painted red fingernails on the counter before taking a sip of her Apple Crisp.]

Bollocks... I really buggered this up, didn't I?

Or at least I find I'm still more susceptible to the cold than humans are, despite not being a snake for 6,000 years.

No, I suppose Eden wasn't on your world. Well on mine it was where everything started. When I arrived, I was a serpent.

[Well that is actually mildly interesting. He hasn't met any other serpents here yet, even if this one hasn't been one in a long time.]

I never could get my eyes right when I took human shape. [He tilts down his sunglasses to show him his yellow snake eyes.]

[Huh. Interesting. Jormungandr nods and... okay he's a little tiny bit jealous. He really doesn't like being human.]

So, what do you think of this whole humanity business? I'm sure at the least it's nice to get out and stretch.

[He snorts derisively and shakes his head. While it is nice to be out in the open, really he's just been taken from one prison and forced into another. He doesn't think much of it.

Though it is nice to have the opportunity to be stronger than Thor for once. Even if it won't last for long.]

I suppose it must be strange having limbs... It took me a while to get limbs right, to be honest.

[He rolls his eyes just a little and nods. The first few days he was here were awful.]

And the softness of skin... Though you know, I've come to rather fancy skin. It's... sensitive in all the right ways. Well, at long as you treat it kindly.

[He shrugs. Honestly, it's just one part of a very long list of things Jormungandr doesn't like about being in a human body. But yes, the delicacy of the whole thing is nigh on ridiculous. How humans have managed to survive as long as they have is beyond him.]

[Crowley's clearly fascinated with humanity, though he really would much rather be himself.]

They are surprisingly resilient, aren't they?

[He snorts. It's almost unfortunate that they are, really. Not that he cares too much, they don't bother him very often.]

And they are inventive little beasts, looking for more and more ways to make each other miserable.

[He's only heard, he's never really seen. The fish gossip much more than anyone would expect, so he hears quite a lot, but it's not like he can see very much for himself.

Here, however, he's getting something of a crash course in humanity.]

[He nods. That's part of it.

Part of it is that he doesn't really care.]

Well, despite all their flaws, I find humans to be interesting little buggers. Can't be helped, I suppose.

I suppose I should let you get on your way. Don't let this old demon keep you from whatever you were doing.

[He shrugs. Fine. He'll just start walking away then.]
