Looking for some Booze [open]
Who: Crowley & ____?
When: Early Evening
Where: City Center
Crowley was pissed. He was alone in this strange city. Somewhere in his mind he wondered if Adam had something to do with all of this. He didn't think the anti-christ would have, but he wasn't about to put it past him. Maybe he got bored.
What Crowley needed now was a stiff drink. He got out of the car and leaned against it. Where was Aziraphale when he needed him. At least if he were there they could get drunk together.

"Howdy," she said. She put out a hand. "Claire Baxter. You look about as happy to be here as I am."

Part of him just wanted to go back to his apartment and sleep through it all.

"So where are you from?" she asked.

"There aren't even pubs to go hang out in" he muttered to himself while walking down the street. Ahead of him there seamed to be two people talking. "I have had only one good encounter do I really want to see what other sorts of trouble are waiting for me in this nightmare land?" he muttered again. but he couldn't help it he had to stop when he came near enough. "Its nice to know that it isn't possible to go days without seeing a single person" he said politely.
His dress could only be described as grand. any other word would simply not capture the feeling of it, it was not a modern look he looked like he may have been an actor in some sort of period style fantasy. Light green eyes glanced at the man and the woman as he brushed bleached platinum hair back.

Actually, it reminded him of Azirphale outfit for when he pretended to be a magician.
"Another victim of this odd city?"

"Consulting." He said in answer to the question and then asked the other man, "What of you?"
no subject
The image of this demon before him in a London office consulting people was amusing, and he tried not to laugh. Even if the man seamed more or less present he didn't have any desire to be on the wrong side of a demon. He had enough trouble in and out of this city already.
With a smile he decided to break into there conversation again. "Yes sadly, I was pulled away from pressing matters as well. I take it both of you were plucked from your homes as if toys as well?"

Claire noticed Howl and flashed him a smile. "Wow, it's a party," she commented. "And, yes, I was..."
no subject
He tilted his head to the man. "Know of any way to get out?"
no subject
He looked to the woman and nodded. "All of us out of out element."

"You have resources? Well... I have some of my own... Maybe we could..." He grimaced a bit. He always preferred working in solitude. "Work together..."
He looked at both the woman and the man. "I don't know about you, but I'd be a lot happier back in my own time and place..."

She got the feeling Crowley and Howl both knew something she didn't.

"Well, one can assume that this place is another world separate from the worlds we are familiar which, each one being different. Once we figure out the nature of this world, and where it might be in relation to others, we can start figuring out which way is each world we are from. Though I don't know if we have access to outside worlds from here, and I have no idea what world this place is nor do I have the means to figure out such an amount. theres endless amount of worlds and I knew the ones near mine."
no subject
"I just hope Aziraphale doesn't get stuck here," he muttered to himself. "I don't think I could stand him muttering something about ineffability..."
He shook his head a bit and eyed the blonde, lowering his sunglasses slightly to reveal his yellow, serpentine eyes. Pushing his normal discretion aside he offered a hand for a shake. "I'm Crowley. And I want to get back to my world, so I'm willing to work with you to get out of here..."
no subject
"I'm" he paused just a bit, what to use what to use well it was easier to use his name wasn't it. "Wizard Howl. Its a pleasure to meat you."
After taking his hand away he thought about the idea of working with something that... seamed so demon. Would it kick him in the ass if he rejected the offer, or would it be troublesome to accept. He chose to just not answer one way or the other.
no subject
"Wizard, huh? I guess that explains the scent of magic..."
All Crowley knew for certain anymore was that he still wanted to get good and drunk. Unfortunately, that singular bottle the woman had would not be enough. He rubbed his eyes under his sunglasses.
"Ugh.... I still need to get drunk......"
no subject
"I see no reason to deny my profession at the moment." he said trying to keep nice and bite off that sarcastic edge he nearly went towards. "If you're looking for a good place there are none. I am going to guess though that there will be an empty store filled with whatever it is you would like to get drunk on. How any decent person can properly get drunk like that I would never know." Howl wanted a pub! With people and maybe a TV.

He made a face as a thought dawned on him. Just when did he get so used to the angel's presence? Was it the near apocalypse or before then? Ugh.... Just these thoughts alone was enough to lead a demon to drink...
"Maybe I should check out the perimeter.... Is there a wall or....?"
no subject
no subject
"Perhaps if there -is- a perimeter there is a weak point.... Or maybe the weak points only show up when others arrive..."
no subject
There was something about the man that was nagging at him. Something that just felt a little out of place. And then it hit him and without thinking through with it first he spoke out. "Why does a demon speak like a Londoner? Not that I won't area London is full of demons."
no subject
"I have a flat in London. But it's not just demons there... Actually I think I'm the only demon the lives on Earth."
no subject
"I did not mean in the actual use as a species term...." he began slowly. He wanted a good drink, this was making him depressed.

Howl did take a few steps back. He would rather be around a proper demon then one that was incoherent and was acting like his best friend had died.
no subject
"I, for one, will not just sit back and be somewhere I shouldn't be.."
no subject
no subject
"Yeah... I think I will."
no subject
"Good good. If you find anything out please give me a shout," his words were smooth as his feet slowly steeped back some more. After he felt like he was a good bit away he raised his hand in a wave "I think I shall go home now. I fear there are things I need to take care of." The retreat was quick as if the man was a practiced avoider.
