[Crowley can be seen buying plywood, sand paper, varnish, and some tools. He looks a bit preoccupied and slightly devious.]


B. [Action: In Front of 915 Bilko Boulevard]

[He is sitting on the porch sanding a slightly ovular board. He's smiling like a cat who's gotten his cream.]


C. [Action: About Town]

[The results! Crowley can be on his newly built skateboard. He's wearing his suit and a pair of black All-Stars. He seems to be an old pro at this and even does a couple tricks with his tie flapping in the wind.]

[Crowley comes to a stop in front of the blonde kid he didn't know and smirked a bit, his still so strangely normal green eyes glittering with amusement.]

Well, you take what you can get. This town has only provided me with suits, which is fine by me. At least I found these sneakers. This wouldn't be so easy in wingtips.

[He tilts his head a bit, only meeting Crowley's eyes briefly before he's back to examining the makeshift skateboard.]

I wasn't aware the town stripped away free will. You couldn't buy something? Never mind.

[He's still fixated on the board. He wants to ask what the hell that thing is, but he's assuming it's a Muggle thing and should be fairly obvious. So he's just. Staring.]

So, what's the point, exactly?

[He snorts a bit indelicately.]

Skateboards weren't around in the fifties. This town doesn't have anything like it, but it has the basic parts. It's not a difficult thing to make.

[He tips up the board to reveal the underside, which he'd painted with a snake wearing sunglasses and coiled around an apple. He was amused by it.]

The point is to get from Point A to Point B faster than walking and without having to strap bloody roller skates to your feet.

It just seems rather primitive, that's all. [Though he's eying the bottom of the board with a hint of interest. Snakes have a special meaning okay. End of story.]

If you wanted to get somewhere faster, couldn't you get one of those car things?

[Yes. Yes they do. The particular imagery on the board? Very personal.]

It is kind of primitive.

[sigh] I'd very much like to have my Bentley back, but I'm not about to give up a part of myself for it. And the cars that are native to this era are ridiculous hunks of metal. No class.

[He's back to looking at the skateboard again.] And why the snake?

[He looks at the board a moment and smirks.]

Oh, well... I'm in Genesis. The serpent that tempted Eve to eat from the Tree of Life.

[He shrugs a bit.]

I'm normally man shaped. But yes, when I was first on Earth, I was snake shaped.

[He was quiet a long moment, concentrating on trying to change. Nothing happened, of course. He frowned.]
