[The phone rings until it switches to voice mail. Then there's Crowley's relaxed voice.]

Hi. This is Anthony Crowley. Uh. I'm probably not in right now, or asleep, and busy, or something, but leave a message after the tone and I'll get right back to you. Ciao.

[The Doctor is humming a certain song. The reply is simple and ressuring.]

You drink it. Trust me, I'm The Doctor.

[ He stares at him. ]

Are you seriously humming Mary Poppins at me?

Didn't you know? She's a Time Lady.

[At least if Mary Poppins were in fact as real as she is in the Disney movie. The books are a bit different.]

[ Cue more staring. ]

But Mary Poppins is Disney, not BBC. [ A beat. ] Though I suppose it was a book series first.

[The Doctor stares a bit about the BBC. Is that what he airs on, in other universes?]

Her bag is bigger on the inside. She can take herself and others into other dimensions. Her Tardis is an umbrella.

[The Doctor's logic, if she was real. She'd be a Time Lady.]

[ That's a nice cross-canon theory there Doctor. ]

Is she real in your universe, or fiction?

Fiction. But she's real somewhere in the multiverse.

I can't help but think you're right considering you're standing here in front of me and not an actor on the telly.

[ Wait... Oh, this would explain some things. ]

The other Crowley must be played by the same actor as you in some other universe.

[There's a thoughtful pause. He does wonder what person plays both, The Doctor and Crowley in some universe.]

Yup.

You're also forgetting that one of my past lives meeting H.G.Wells is what inspired him to write The Time Machine in the first place.

[So, Mary could be real. In a sense in The Doctor's universe.]

[ It takes him a moment, but he does recall that episode. ] Yeah, I suppose you're right.

I mean, there're probably universes where dinosaurs are real, so why not...

[ Alright he's been putting this off long enough. He finally picks up the spoon, looks at the liquid as if it was personally offending him, and shoves it in his mouth, swallowing it down before he can change his mind or taste it. ]

Dinosaurs were real in my universe.

[And a Cyberman ship is what collided with Earth. Adric on board and that was the end of the dinosaurs and the end of Adric. His third incarnation captured a T-Rex. The Doctor watches. Holding his breath for a moment. He's not sure if this will work but Sodder has delivered before for The Doctor various ability items. Could happen.]

Right, yeah. I get the feeling they exist in a lot of universes. I mean they sort of do in mine. The bones at least. But it's just one of His attempts at humor, you know? I mean our Earth is only 6,000 years old, give or take.

[ His wings twitch as he starts to feel, well, something. It burns and itches as flesh starts to regrow from nothing. He didn't expect this to be a pleasant or an easy process, but still. ]

[For the sake of math probability and the Doctor's own Book of Rules. Isn't going to debate the existence of An Almighty Creator. Someone still doesn't believe it was Satan in that pit in his own universe.

Ten offers Crowley the jello-shot.]

[ He takes a look at the offered brightly colored gelatin and leans forward to pluck it from The Doctor's hand using only his serpentine tongue.

A twinge from his regrowing wing causes him to wince. No, this wasn't going to be fun, even with the nice company. ]

[There's no reaction as Crowley eats the jello-shot out of The Doctor's hand with the serpentine tongue. When Crowley finishes licking. Ten will offer his hand for Crowley to hold. And squeeze if needed.]

Wonder how long this is going to take... Though I suppose a bunch of nerves growing and reconnecting is going to be a right pain. Oh bugger I'm going to have a wing of nothing but pinfeathers.

[ He flops onto the counter dramatically, trapping The Doctor's hand under his face. ]

Don't know. But I'll stay till this is finished.

[Ten fluffs Crowley's hair with his other hand.]

[ Normally he wouldn't take having his hair ruffled lying down. But, well... He supposes he'll let it slide this time, all things considered. ]

Thanksss...

[Ten continues to speak softly.]

I could use my touch-telepathy. To try and ease the pain?

Nah, nah... 'S fine. It's more uncomfortable than anything else. I've definitely experienced worse. And no use in two of us being uncomfortable.

[The Doctor gives Crowley a soft kiss on-top the head.]

[ He blinks up at him in surprise. ] Wha...?

[Ten continues to fluff Crowley's hair.]
